Liberators, we need to get to liberating

Perhaps you’ve heard of these? The FP-45 Liberator from WWII.

I think we’re going to need to study up on making these. Because it’s not just RKBA they’re after, it’s unlawful search & seizure (4A), too, up in that dingbat progressive laboratory of Washington St.
Forget police drones flying over your house. How about police coming inside, once a year, to have a look around?
As Orwellian as that sounds, it isn’t hypothetical. The notion of police home inspections was introduced in a bill last week in Olympia.
That it’s part of one of the major gun-control efforts pains me. It seemed in recent weeks lawmakers might be headed toward some common-sense regulation of gun sales. But then last week they went too far. By mistake, they claim. But still too far.
“They always say, we’ll never go house to house to take your guns away. But then you see this, and you have to wonder.”
By mistake, my fat white ass. The ‘mistake’ was that someone caught you red-handed in your weaselly ways.

One does indeed need to wonder and worry. Unreasonable search and seizure has been a fundamental and unchallenged part of our Constitution since its establishment. One would thing that 2 Washington State legislators, both lawyers, would have learned this in law school. But then, they are lawyers and liberals and advancing the cause of the nanny state because we all need to be taken care of. Perhaps we ought to re-start the manufacturing of the FP-45 Liberator and distribute it to citizens as protection against liberal lawyers. Eight feet of effective range ought to do the job quite nicely!
I read today that this toad has introduced the same language in other bills in the past. It was no mistake.
Let’s you buy a machine shop!
Pols are always trying to justify their existence (and re-election), usually by introducing something like this that will deflect attention from their thieving, which is their principal activity. The ensuing argument is a great cover for them. The Texas lege is renown for it.
Between you and me and the DEFCAD folks, we can probably come up with some better designs still than the Liberator. Would really groove on something along the lines of a WELROD. Gotta spend some time in the garage . . . no, I’m just kidding. Really.
WA is the complete schitzoid state. Progressives sit in all the power chairs and the citizens seem to do all they can to avoid their decisions. If it seems nutty, it is. I can’t figure it out and I’ve lived here most of my life. One thing for sure, few if any liberals attend gun shows which are held regularly outside Seattle. Few liberals take NRA sponsored gun safety classes. I think we could actually make some progress in lowering gun violence if liberal-progressives would take the time to find out how safe and sane the gun collector/hobby community really is.
