That right there is funny

From 9 things the MSM will suddenly rediscover should Romney win the Presidency
1. The teabagger party isn’t as dead as we thought it was. Instead, it lay hidden, like snakes in the grass, until it was able to overtake the Republican party and create a far right racist theocracy wherein social justice is sacrificed in the name of lower taxes — and monster truck rallies begin to replace PBS and NPR in the public consciousness, God help us.
The popular vision of the tea party people is forever hilarious. It has the advantage of being shape-shifting, too, an all-purpose derogative, perfect for whatever emotion you wish to transmit, AND you don’t even have to be a journalist.

For me, the single biggest impact the tea party has on my life is their voting influence on Dancing with the Stars. Bristol Palin has no rythm at all, even for a white girl. I’m not sure how she got pregnant cuz her hips just don’t (can’t) move. Obama has better moves walking down the steps of Air Force One. AND…..AND……SHE’S NOT A CELEBRITY! If the tea party can vote for someone who just can’t dance, ON A DANCE SHOW, then who knows what they might do in real life situations? They replaced “Run Sarah Run!” with “Dance Bristol Dance!” and that’s just un American. For a show that originated in Great Britain.
Wait, wait. The lede is being buried. The important thing we’ve learned here is that you watch a dancing show on the teeveee. And you are offering up critiques.
Oh! I get it now. THAT right there is funny. Took me a while. True and may or may not be funny. Romney has nothing to do with the Tea Party. For Republicians, it is an association of convenience. We’d actually be much better off if the faithful from both parties found themselves disestablished. Then, perhaps some genuine Americans who care enough to selflessly serve the cause of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness might be elected.
Well, you have to know me, Jeff, 10 or 11 years of blogging history, antagonism toward the media, and etc. It’s inside baseball.
Speaking of baseball, I notice you aren’t since the stRangers lost.
Well, you have my condolences, seeing as how you were always a much bigger fan of theirs than I was.
I’m also sympathizing with Mr. B. who bought a stRangers cap just before their showdown with Oakland. He still wears it but now it reminds me of all those years when they faded after the All Star Break.
Think they’ll bring Hamilton back next year? Should they?
I’m still watching and enjoying what I see. I guess I’m pulling for the Tigers, and of course the Os to defeat the hated Yankees.
I’m torn about Josh. He’s a human highlight reel when he’s on, but GDMFSOB, he stunk up the last two weeks (and more.) That lollygagging dropped pop fly in Game 162 just made me want to cry. I think he’s been convinced by others that it’s time to move on, anyway. And I don’t think the Rangers should wreck their budget over him, either. So, I think he’s out of here.
