Psalms of King David, by Alan Sullivan and Seree Cohen Zohar
Posted by TFG on June 19th, 2012
It’s very wonderful to see this come to pass:
Alan worked very hard on the translations as he approached the end of his life, brought about by (what else?) cancer. He was, and continues to be, a major inspiration to me in my own battle.
Seree sent me an email last night, and I let out a little whoop of delight. Knowing what I know now about chemo, I find it amazing that the man could concentrate to the level required to master Hebrew. Hebrew! There are times when I can barely type normal hayseed English.

I believe attitude is everything in fighting cancer. Although it may be a disease of death, it can be a call to life. Most important is what people who suffer choose to do with their gift of live during and after treatment. The best prescription for succes in fighting this disease might be one who possesses “a sanguine personality.”
