Yumpin’ Yiminee

Of course, I had no idea I was headed into the teeth of tornadic supercells. What a wild-ass deal!

Fortunately, I was headed south & east of all the heavy stuff, so I’m missing 99% of it. I gots pressure drop, wind kicking up, and thunder happening right now, but near as I can tell I’m sill well off the squall line.

All of the family are OK, too, thank God, but pretty much everybody was in the path of one or the other tornadoes, and pretty much everybody heard tornado sirens. Frightening stuff, Holmes…

RANGERS UPDATE: I heart Joey Matches: DFW Weatherpocalypse Live Chat That will be a dead link soon, but, well, you know…WEATHERPOCALYPSE! Also in Rangers news, I was listening to WBAP from about Waco all the way north, and apparently all the bad stuff missed the Ballpark, so Opening Day = OK, I’m guessing.

It missed the ballpark but almost squashed us! Forney and Royce City are close to our abode. Too close for comfort. From about 2:15 to 4:00 pm it was warning siren after warning siren. Most lucky no one was killed.
