Prior to getting into Count to a Trillion (below), I was re-readinig this series from Michael Flynn. What actually happened was I snagged In the Lion’s Mouth, read it, and then immediately went and re-read January Dancer and Up Jim River. I gained a greater appreciation for the arc of the story (or more likely, I re-acquainted my chemo brain with what the hell happened 
). I very definitely recommend you read them back to back to back, if you don’t already always do that with serials. Michael Flynn’s blog is here (FAIR WARNING: Smart Guy Alert).

As you know I haven’t been able to get into this SI FI stuff. Senator Whitehead tells me Stevie King’s new book based on time travel is quite interesting. I am reading a history book you must read. Empire of the Summer Moon. all about injuns and texas ranger. great stuff

A wonderful series, Flynn’s, indeed. One of my favorites. Pity it may be a year before we get the next one.
I’ll have to take you up on Mike Flynn. Now, I must make a recommendation – VINCE FLYNN. excellent anti-terrorism series. Vince is fighting metastatic prostate cancer. One of my favorite all time authors…
