Let’s see here…998 miles to Surpise @ 16mpg = 62 gallons * $3.50 * round-trip = $440. I ain’t doing nothing else…go kidnap the Wild Injuns, head west, stuff ‘em full of hot dogs, teach ‘em how to talk the concessionaires out of a beer for their poor, old, beat-down granddad.

What are the odds that Darvish will make the transition? He’d be one the few who ever did.
Given the track record of Jon Daniels and the rest of the front office, I’m feeling pretty confident about young Mr. Darvish. I really can’t wait to see some spring training video of him.
