Yessiree Bob – not telling Pakistan was just as gutsy as flying into a foreign land, at night, nap of the earth, hoping no one sees your helicopter and blows it out of the sky. Then fast roping into a compound of hostiles, number unknown, engaging in a firefight and clearing it. Then exfiltrating. Yup, not telling Pakistan is just like that.
You’re right, Chamberlain forgot to use the buzz word of the day but let’s be honest she was going for a 3-point shot from half-court here and “gutsy” just wasn’t enough. Tying Obama’s decision to the courage of the SEALs?
I diagnose this as a severe lack of actual adults running the place, and the wannabe Woodwards scuffling along in the wake of the not-adults, hoping for a pat on the head. Of course, and this is what galls me, that dozy cow, this Wendy, is probably richer than hell. I am not anything like a fan of class envy, but you shouldn’t be that dumb and have money. It’s dispiriting.

Did anyone really think Pakistan would detect out Seals violating their airspace? These are the same guys that couldn’t find Bin Laden’s Brady Bunch house in the suburbs
So far, no one has been able to meet this challenge: name three national politicians that WOULDN’T make the same call. And even start out by giving them Ron Paul and kucinich.
If you are doing exactly what every other person in that position would do, that’s not courage.
Phelps stole my thunder on it. And so did Rush Limbaugh. If he did NOT say to go get him, any hope for re-election would have been out, when it leaked that he didn’t do it. And it always, always leaks.

Well, I said it here, but it was in little type at the bottom. Not saying “GO” would have exploded the rest of his presidency, guaranteed. No way it doesn’t leak, and no way every single politician with an inkling of it doesn’t chase it & him down.
