You might remember me lamenting the passing of my little internet buddy Alan a few days ago. If you ever clicked on any of my Seablogger links, you might be interested to know that the readers of his site are striving to continue the community. I’m blessed to be manning the bilge pumps over there. I really don’t think my typing-into-the-internet talents would be…accessible…to the normal FB readers, being as I’m loud, profane, and ineloquent. And a damn Texan. But I repeat myself
My point, though, is that I think it will round into a pretty cool little bunch of interwebs. Maybe in the day of Facebook and Twitter an actual website is superfluous, but I don’t think so. I guess we’ll find out.
I also just want to say how happy I am that people care enough to give it a shot. If you’ve been around the tubes as long as I have, you pretty much forget that there are real people at the other end of the link. Real, live people always throw me for a loop, and I’m pretty happy that’s so.
