“He’s not heard anything from the White House types,” said a close friend who spoke with Powell before and after his appearance on “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
What the eff did he want? A pat on the back? Someone to beg him to reconsider? This is Adult-Land. You fire a torpedo, you’re not going to get a telegram from the sinking ship congratulating you on your choice to pull the trigger.
It’s all about money, anyway. President Uhhhbama = more $$$ and maybe a place at the Trough of HopeAndChange for General Powell. Hide and watch.
