To the contrary, it is hard to count any objective measures by which Biden did not clearly win the encounter. She looked like she was trying to get people to take her seriously. He looked like he was running for vice president. His answers were more responsive to the questions, far more detailed and less rhetorical.

Never mind that a big stinking bunch of Champ’s responsive, non-rhetorical detail was pulled directly out of his ass.

At one time, the press called bullshit on bullshit. Then they pretty much stopped, and the blogs stepped up. Well, no longer can you presume (or hope) that a web-only operation will fact-check their asses. FOAD, Politico.

Shameful, degraded, and as Chuck says, a net-negative to America’s balance sheet.

Logan, a former swimsuit model who is CBS’ chief foreign affairs correspondent, made headlines this year when a CNN reporter and a US defense contractor in Iraq got into a brawl over her. The contractor impregnated Logan, who is due to give birth in January.

Tons of stuff I heard last night from the smartest man in the room made me go “WHAT?” This is just one.

Number two, with regard to bankruptcy now, Gwen, what we should be doing now — and Barack Obama and I support it — we should be allowing bankruptcy courts to be able to re-adjust not just the interest rate you’re paying on your mortgage to be able to stay in your home, but be able to adjust the principal that you owe, the principal that you owe.

Utterly idiotic.
