The Locals Know

Somebody go ask Wick Allison, conservative, where all the Dallas bond money is that was supposed to put a public park down on the Trinity River. When you say crap like this
But today it is so-called conservatives who are cemented to political programs when they clearly don’t work.
…but three or four years ago he couldn’t get enough advertising money to push the latest and greatest Trinity River Project (funded by bonds in the late 90s, and do you see anything on the Trinity but trash and dead bodies?), that is no conservative. You might fancy yourself one, but you’re just as big a tick on America as BHO.
I just wish I had all the paper the he, his cronies, his Highland Park buddies, the mayor, the city council, and the other 40,000 publicists in Dallas, printed and distributed supporting spending more taxpayer money on the local hog trough that has yet — YET — to materialize in any form or fashion. I would be rich beyond belief.
Me, I don’t live there no more. Leaving it was not easy, as Dallas is my hometown, and every single molecule of my family is there, as well as every friend I’ve ever had. But it absolutely wasn’t painful leaving behind the douchebags like Wick Allison who live in Highland Park and spend millions of dollars asking demanding of everybody else to pay for something those other people will never use. To see that guy’s name rear up in this election is honestly beyond humorous, I don’t care how many times he had dinner on Bill Buckley’s yacht. He’s a water-carrier for whoever’s gonna give him a check.
OK, that will probably be the last time I ever mention idiotic local Dallas politics again. Ugh, I really hate myself now, but that Triniity River horseshit really chaps my hide, deeply. Did that Spaniard ever do the fabulous turtle bridges that moistened the panties of the Highland Park crowd? I didn’t notice them last time I drove through…probably sucking mud at the bottom of the river right now. Or they’re up and utterly unnoticeable…that wouldn’t surprise me, either.
