Surge Succeeded Beyond ‘Wildest Dreams’

Obama: Surge Succeeded Beyond ‘Wildest Dreams’ - America’s Election HQ

“I think that the surge has succeeded in ways that nobody anticipated,” Obama said while refusing to retract his initial opposition to the surge. “I’ve already said it’s succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.”

Nobody. Wildest dreams.

Nobody except George Bush, John McCain, General Petreaus, the American military, and a whole lot of other dead-enders. Remember that slur? All the rage at the time. Should we hunt them down and list them?

Nobody. Wildest dreams.

Hack. Marxist Chicago Machine hack. How does this mealy-mouthed two-bit hack garner the nomination of one of the two parties in this country?

Fresh Bilge » Palin vs Obama

Fresh Bilge » Palin vs Obama

The cultural contrasts of Obama and McCain are stark enough, but those of Palin and Obama are even more revealing, because these two are contemporaries: their clash will define America in the Twenty-First Century, while Biden and McCain are figures from a receding past. From this point on, it will really be Palin versus Obama. And she will win, because she is a formed and grounded grownup, while Obama is only a character in his own memoir.

RTWT. It’s a wonderfully complete explanation of the Palin Power phenomenon.

I’m beginning to wonder if McCain truly & deeply knew what he was getting with Gov. Palin. If he did — and there’s zero evidence that he did not — then Senator McCain is a far wiser man than I have given him credit for.
