Wheeeeee!
Posted by TFG on August 29th, 2008
A hunting western governor lady married to an oil bidness man with five kids. Rocking!
Most important to me, not another windbag Senator (with or without luminescent teefies) who knows better than me how my life should be run.
And if it can’t be Charles Austin (or me), this’ll do just fine.
THIS MAKES ME HAPPY UPDATE: Fred Thompson, genuine bad-ass conservative (at least in my books): “I am absolutely delighted by this selection. Once again, John McCain has shown that he is an independent thinker who paints in bold strokes. Sarah Palin is a conservative reformer with executive experience who will bring a breath of fresh air to Washington. She will be an ideal running mate for John McCain, and will make a major contribution to our country’s future.”
PRACTICALLY DELIRIOUS NOW UPDATE: Via the Pistolero:

I’m crushing, majorly. Her old man won some bad-ass snowmobile races, too — a gearhead oilman. If America chooses Barry NMI Obama over this, I might just buy a coat and move to Alaska. OK, that’s crazy talk.

Her “oil bidness” man works on a oil rig on the North Slope. I already thought Barry was going lose, now I know he will.

Your affection will only grow. I was in a Alaska a couple of weeks ago and fell for her then. She has a trampoline for her kids in the backyard of the governors mansion.

She kills critters and eats them! Would Biden do this, or Barry or Michelle? Negatory!
And the artist in me **loves** her face. She’s not just pretty, if I had more talent, I’d love to paint her because of the facial structure alone.
Yay for Palin!

Speaking of Fred, I got an email from his PAC today saying he had a major announcement planned for Monday. What the hell? I can’t seem to find anything about it online but it’s odd timing.
I love the Palin pick too. If Obama gets elected, I’ll be buying my bus ticket to Alaska right along with you.
Or Belize. Whichever is nicer in the winter.
