Obama hammers McCain, Bush on economy, gas prices - Yahoo! News
Democrat Barack Obama on Monday seized on heightened concerns about the economy, tying John McCain to the Bush administration’s recent record of soaring gasoline prices and slumping employment.
I’m 99.99% sure that it was Democratic candidates who ensured the American people they would do something about high gas prices, back when they were hovering around $2.80 per, 18 short months ago, right before the 2006 elections. Where is all the great work that Pelosi and The New Dem Crew were gonna do on gas prices? It seems to have…vanished. Well, we’ve had a couple of extra episodes of Attention-Seeking Weirdos on Teevee, so everyone forgot, I guess.
Piss on it…we’re way into Idiocracy territory now. Whatever the latest GQ politician says. As if George Bush or Bill Clinton or any American president can control gas prices. We are a nation of fools that are just gonna swallow the Obama stink-bait. We’ve raised a nation of morons, sadly, who think government controls markets. Whatever, I guess…we’ll get there, sooner or later. Just another Venezuela. And nobody is gonna care.

I had a long discussion about oil prices with my chiropractor yesterday. It ended when he said that, “We need to just do what Chavez did. Tell them they have 30 days to get their shit together or we’re going to nationalize the industry.” This after his 30 minute rant about their “insane profits”. I looked him square in the eyes and said, “And this is where I get off the train, because for an educated man, you’re an idiot.”
I probably shouldn’t go back there any more, because it’s probably not a good idea to tell someone who is going to be twisting your neck that he’s an idiot.

Chiropractors are running a scam to begin with, nevermind their political foolishness. I wonder how many people really think Bush or Clinton or whoever can effect oil and gas prices? Slimy pols like Barry just like to huff and puff about it, in hopes that a few fools will grab hold of the bandwagon, and the news media loves to puff Barry. The audience for those halfwit teevee programs actually is declining.
