Where we’re all headed

Posted by TFG on 17th June 2008

Mouth of the Brazos: I made it.

They said I had a 90% blockage of one of my arteries. They probably lied. I reckon I would have felt it more, if it was that bad. Still, I promised to exercise more and take more pills and drink less and smoke not at all.

I can lie, too.

Reason for rejoicing. It’s a goal of mine, a small one but a goal regardless, to buy a beer for JD.

We must have goals, they all say.

Somebody is already doing this

A smart man or lady somewhere in California is prepping to be the top gay divorce lawyer.

It’s kind of sad being a money-grubbing Type A, because that’s the first thing I thought of when I heard about the new law of California. But just wait — one will emerge. The medits won’t be able to help themselves.

You can keep Alex, sis, just as long as you can keep him

Posted by TFG on 17th June 2008

Uma Thurmann-look-a-like declares her sweet baby boy off-limits to military service for the rest of his life. Fine, very fine — that’s what parents are for, teaching their kids the way they think they should go. Just please, Uma-wanna-be - if Alex decides to go another way when he’s a full-grown adult, don’t hate him because of it, OK?

Does anyone know if any of these people are real, in the sense that Uma is a real mama and not just someone cashing a check? Clearly, Alex is a real baby. But he might be the baby of a war-mongering Marine captain looking to cash in on liberals’ moronic teevee-ridden sound-bite values. That would be funny.
