One real problem we have in this country is that it’s a lot more un-PC to tell black folks, “You’re full of shit,” than it is to tell white or even Asian folks the same thing, and when they can go through life getting special treatment in the form of race-specific scholarships, and preferential hiring policies in jobs, well, wouldn’t it seem that we’d end up with less than totally qualified black folks doing things-it kinda goes against the whole natural peter principle, which has something to do with folks reaching the outer limits of their capability, or maybe with my boss being a real peter, or something.

My, but I’m delinquent in checking this blog, but those grandkids are something else. The older one is a few weeks older than my darling nephew, and yeah, I could see my brother’s kid doing the plate-licking thing when he isn’t chirping out expletives he may have heard in traffic, thankfully, not from me.

my late daughter had a wonderful term for these inteligence challenged folks,oxygen thieves. think about it,they are using up a hell of a lot natural resources that hard working,tax paying productive people could use, especially during these hard times. as for the education system in this country no matter how much money they take in from taxes,lottos & having our kids pedal candy bars,magazines etc. they,ll find another way to piss it away instead of educating our children.

You know, I almost pulled that post right aftet I published it, as too radical a screaming cuss-rant, even for me. As a partial excuse, things had deteriorated quickly after gettin off work…

But now that I see some good-guys agree with me, I reckon I’ll leave it.

I did poorly in HS, too. I did pretty good in college, though. I think I need a less structured environment, more latitude in exactly HOW to things, even learning. Just a precisely defined goal and a deadline. I probably would have turned out more like Joliet Jake, had I gone to Catholic school.

The beer joint thing - hell, you are SPOSE to turn off your brain when you go in, aintcha?

You know what’s tiresome? America should have an educational system light years beyond anything anywhere, and I should be ashamed to stick my head up at the lowest of beer joints. That’s not the case, though. We’re churning out morons by the bushel-basket-full. I guess that raises my stock a few points, but good gravy, that’s not going to be any help.

Seriously, I barely got out of high school, and that’s no joke, but the people I meet are frighteningly stupidly pig ignorant.

I’ve said it before, but in any sufficiently large population, half the people in it are by definition, below average. In any normal distribuion, y the time you get to three sigmas, you definitely into stupid MF range, and that’s still a lot of people.

But the sad thing is, it ultimately has little to do with intelligence. Some really smart people believe some of the stupidest shit. Take communism for instance…
