Quote of the Freaking Year, Gender Studies Edition

Posted by TFG on February 21st, 2008

Alarming News:

I don’t do Valentine’s Day–I find it corny and cheesy and, worst of all, I think it lets men off the hook to be romantic and buy you flowers the rest of the year because they do it on this one day [...]

Got that? A grand worth of diamonds, cards, roses, dinner, and probably some ridiculous figurine gets you off the hook.

More proof, if it’s needed, that no matter how hard you might try, it’s just not ever going to be enough, you callous hog.

If the writer you cite here thinks comments and attitude such as hers will lead to male behavior she’d prefer, she should see her brain-care specialist at once. But her problem is not unique; most women understand less about how men express love than they do about the nebular hypothesis.

Male-bashing women are proof that God loves fools and idiots. After all, look how many of them He made!

Wait’ll she gets old and wrinkly and has no one to remind her of her one-time beauty. That’ll learn her. If she lives.

  3. Karol Says:

I’m sorry you and your commenters are too dumb to realize my post was the opposite of men-bashing.

  4. TFG Says:

Yeah, yeah, we’re all too stoopid. Keep telling yourself that.

  5. TFG Says:

Nobody said it was man-bashing, anyway. I’m sorry you’re too stupid to realize the thrust of the post.
