Genius Quote of the Day
Posted by TFG on February 24th, 2008
A fair reading of the constitution beats even “tort reform” anyday.
– Tom Van Dyke
As Tom also says, “Even the Supreme Court can largely agree on what the Constitution means every once in awhile. Thank God and may He continue to bless This Here Republic.” Hear, hear, and let’s have more of that.

OT, here’s one that’s right up your exhaust, Scott, and, of course, it’s up there in OakieLand: TruckNuts

Dick, I don’t know whether to be insulted because:
- you think I might never have heard of truck nuts
- you think I might be interested in buying truck nuts
- you think I think there should be a law against truck nuts
- you think I wouldn’t be outraged at the moronic lawmaker for trying to make a law
- you think I wouldn’t be outraged that there’s not already a law
On the other hand, maybe you were just throwing it out there.
Here’s the reality for TFG:
Truck nuts exist on the same plane as light-up trailer hitches that advertise your love for your manufacturer, your girlfriend, or your college. It’s your money, spend it how you want it, and don’t get all bowed up if I laugh at your choices. Personally, the only non-functional thing I want on my truck is an NRA sticker, because it says, even in 2008, Bad Motherfucker. And even then, it’s kinda functional, no?

You need that on your wallet.

How sad is it that I’ve chosen to model my life around a throwaway line out of a Quentin Tarantino movie? All that’s left is to start wearing a Javier Bardem Prince Valiant haircut.

I think it is cool. So, uh, retro. Your call as to Anton’s Prince Valiant do or Jules’ freaky ‘fro.
