Frostback Tractor News
Posted by TFG on February 4th, 2008
Even though I’m out of the tractoring business these days, I still keep my eyes peeled for delightful tractor news:
Police pulled over a tractor on a main St. John’s road Sunday night, and then put the driver in a cell after finding liquor in the vehicle.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the driver of a CAT tractor was stopped on Kenmount Road at about 11:30 p.m.
So it’s not necessarily a problem that the tractor was on the main road at an eensie bit before midnight in St. John’s (pop: 100,00 and very pretty from the looks of it), but that booze was involved. Sounds like my kind of place, except for the booze part.
I only wish I knew the story behind the story, you know? It’s gotta be a good one. Kooky Newfies…

What could that thing do–5 mph? Seems excessive to anticipate a DUI with that.
