I'm trying to learn to ignore it, but without much success. When it gets real bad I have trouble lifting a cup of coffee. When it feels good I go and play golf and that manages to make it real bad again.

I now know I'm turning into my parents as far too many conversations drift into medical histories...

I had bursitis and a steroid shot cured it. Man, that sucked.

I've had elbow problems since jr high, thanks to all my screwy sports nut activities. Nothing has ever helped, so I've learned to ignore it.

Dang, girl, where the hell you been? I was thinking about you the other day. I've missed you.

Good to know about the therapy. I'm doing the little splint, and the daily exercises. I sure don't want no surgery.

I had some major thumb/wrist tendon issues a couple of years ago...I was slated for an operation with a plastic surgeon. Since he wasn't doing a face lift, I wasn't much interested, so went to a physical therapist with a sports medicine specialty, ie used to getting football players back on the field in 10 seconds. Four months of therapy and I was cured...no surgery and no recurring problems.

"a couple of toots"

How big is a "toot"? From the sound of things, it must like, what, a pint?
