Hollywood writers warn they’ll strike - Yahoo! News
Hollywood writers said they would strike for the first time in nearly 20 years but left open the door for last-minute talks to avert a crippling walkout.
Who could tell the difference? All they do is re-makes and comic book rip-offs.

“… a crippling walkout.” Ableists.
Frankly, I’ve never understood the unionization of a profession like writing, whose very existence depends on highly individualistic expression and ability. Since when have artists considered themselves interchangeable and subject to seniority when deciding who gets to work?
But what do I know?

Well, I did hear that if David Letterman had to write his own top 10 list, it might be a top 2 list. No comment on whether that would be a good or a bad thing.
