Dipstick Democratic Congresslady from New York introduces legislation shockingly similar to the Assault Weapons Ban…doesn’t have the first clue what a barrel shroud is. Please, please, please — scold me some more.*
I don’t know what a barrel shroud is, either, and I’m a scary Texas gun nut. But I’m not trying to tell people that they should or should not have the GDMFSOBs.
* That heartfelt plea for compassion from the same man who excoriated a Q&O guy for interjecting a personal dislike of the broadcast suits who fired that Imus blowhard on the eve of his childrens’ charity drive. Ox, goring, kettles, pots, whatever…I’m sure Henley’s got his reasons. Might even be some of the same as Franks’.

Barrel shrouds are ventilated covers which can be attached to the barrel of a weapon, making it possible to hold a hot barrel during firing. They are particularly useful on a smaller, pistol gripped type weapon like the Uzi 9mm.
This, of course, makes them evil. Evil, I say. *cue maniacal laughter*

….thus perpetuating my practice time on the range. And we all know…only evil spawns of Satan would actually consider blasting the face off some poor methamphetamine victim, just to selfishly protect ourselves or loved ones…or maybe, if the situation dictates…our property. You know…I’m quite certain, if you’re real nice to a carjacker….and just smile & invite him to sit down and talk about mutual interests & feeliBLAM!….

You know…I was thinking….THANK GOD there isn’t a market demand on barrel shrouds for AR15’s, SKS rifles & various deer rifles & .22’s…..otherwise we’d all be out in the streets on Saturday nite….mowing each other down like Mexicans with Honda powered Toro’s tearing into that pesky Dallis Grass…
