Sorry to hear about this. I’m from the AFC/West school, but damned if the Cowboys don’t lead in gridiron icons.

It seems crazy that someone from outside Texas would even know who Crazy Ray is. He sure made a game fun.

I remeber him at the Devils bowl and high school football games. Thats when he wore his top hat with a water faucet

He would hang out at Doug’s Drive In in the not to distant past before it burned down. I remember when he would wipe his sweat with a Redskin pennant. We are getting old boys.

And i’m always amazed when I drive up North and hear Molly Hatchet or Skynard on the radio.
Crazy Ray was as well-known to me as the rainbow wig guy and Morganna. Unlike those characters, though, he was 99% fan with only a dash of hype. (maybe 93% fan)
