Post-hockey game surfing tells me that Saddam Hussein has departed this earth, courtesy of the hangman. I guess there’s something humane and reasonable and good for all of humanity in him getting his day in court, but it was fairly pointless to me. He’s the kind of guy who would have better served the world by catching a stray .45 FMJ in the cranium while crouching in his septic tank/spider hole.
Weird old week for the Grim Reaper — James Brown, Gerald Ford, and Saddam Hussein. If I were Death, I’d just want to go home, take a long shower, and have a big old bourbon rocks in front of some crappy action movie after that trio.

…sorry…the post took me back to a defensive posture….my response was that of an instructor…trying to teach a good slice of America how to survive against bad guys…

I think he be Hondo…..recpient of the Jerry Jeff Walker Tribute on the greatest transgenerational album ever……we should be drunk and full of TexMex…in Gruene Hall…..with live Ray Wiley, Jerry Jeff, Gary P., scootin’ about wif big titted… I mean listening to that good ole music on the radio….imagining nights by that crystal clear river….
