Thanks, Limies!

Science marches on:

British scientists are on the verge of producing a revolutionary flu vaccine that works against all major types of the disease.

Described as the ‘holy grail’ of flu vaccines, it would protect against all strains of influenza A - the virus behind both bird flu and the nastiest outbreaks of winter flu.

Just a couple of injections could give long-lasting immunity - unlike the current vaccine which has to be given every year.

Even better, they say you can store and stockpile it. That’s really pretty cool.

Actually, No

Because you’re all dying to hear what I have to say about Gerald Ford’s pardon of Richard Nixon:

Since you weren’t even alive, much less prescient, your sliced-and-diced, pre-packaged, Ball Park Weiner commentary is useless except as a data point on what young shavers might have to say about their elders in pretty much any situation. Too bad for you you’re not coming at this 60 years from now…it might have some value at that point. Otherwise, you’re just parroting something a professor said, and we all know it.
