Not that I really care about keeping a big humongous bunch of stuff secret, so much as I don’t want to listen to a bunch of aging dope-head baby-boomer journos rehash their college days AGAIN:
And every year from now on, millions of additional documents will be automatically declassified as they reach the 25-year limit, reversing the traditional practice of releasing just what scholars request.
You can pretty much rest assured that something interesting will come out of it, but the folks who wrote the original Port Huron statement (not the compromised second draft*) will completely miss it. And they’ll jam it down the media consumers throat.

Always drop a dollar or 10 in the Salvation Army bucket, every one you see, no matter how beat-down you are by the bells.
I’m also partial to the Wounded Warrior project, probably because my dad was in a wheelchair his whole adult life (50s-era polio). I wish he was still around to talk to these dudes…I think he would have enjoyed that. Especially if they liked fishing…crikey, could he talk fishing.

Former national security adviser Sandy Berger removed classified documents from the National Archives in 2003 and hid them under a construction trailer, the Archives inspector general reported Wednesday.
There are only two possible responses to this:
1) This country is run by utter morons, whom we’ve elected, so it’s our fault.
2) You have got to be fucking kidding me!
Neither one reflects well on our elites, or most importantly, on us. There’s zero point in even talking about this, yet here I sit, typing away about some fat Washington fuck hiding documents from the National Archive under a gawddamned trailer. Yet the fat fuck won’t see minute one of jail time.
I just wish I could figure a way to get off the merry-go-round. I want out.
