Sorry it’s Freddy Fender this time.*

If you’re not Texan, you don’t know what the Fender-type Mexican influence is to our music. I am, and I do, and I’m thankful. You’ll never see no line dancing to any Freddy Fender tune, and thank the Lord for that.
Go get you some Flaco,OK? Spend some time pondering how close that is to your grandpa’s polka. We ain’t all that different.
* I hate to think who’s next. Dust to dust, yeah, but this is important stuff. I hope like hell that I’m wrong and people much younger than me get that.
