The state pharmacy board ordered Wal-Mart on Tuesday to stock emergency contraception pills at its stores in Massachusetts.
Massachusetts becomes second state to require the world’s largest retailer to carry the morning-after pill.
This is also apparently true in the State of Illinois. I wonder what else a private business is required by law to stock.
I also wonder, if the state pharmacy board were elective positions, would anybody in Mass. care enough about the state mandating inventory practices to throw the SOBs out? I truly doubt it. Heck, even I am tired of railing about this kind of thing. It’s inevitable, and it’ll keep going till the system snaps, or the US becomes Canada, Jr. Hope I’m not around when it does either one, though.
