Why was I not informed of this development? Quite possibly, the santoku is the greatest knife I’ve ever used.
Living where I do, though, I have to keep all of my knives in a secure, undisclosed location so that they aren’t used to change the oil, trim the hedges, pry open teevee dinner packages, or resetting the TiVo. No, the savages in my house are now forced to make do with cheap, flimsy Everware specials from the discount store. When those are all ruined or obliviously thrown in the garbage (approximately 6-12 weeks), I’ll go spend twenty more dollars on another set.
