   It might just be you Scott. I have a hard time finding time for them because my commute is so short but when I used to do a lot more driving a podcast sure would have beat the hell out of normal radio.

   A couple of months ago I would have agreed with you. Now, however, after finding a couple that I like, I think they’re OK. I listen to them while commuting, working out (yes, I’ve started working out) and times like that where I’m not at my computer or anything, but still want to listen to something decent.

   Of course, I’ve paid to subscribe to Coast to Coast AM for a couple years now, and that’s essentially a podcast (they even have special “postcast” software now), so not only am I a freak when it comes to talk radio, but I’m wiling to pay for it

   Plus you’re kind of a curmudgeon, so what do you expect? Of course, that’s part of what makes you a blast to read. Keep up the crankiness!

   Gee honey, I wish I’d have read this before I started hounding you about TexasGigs Podcasts this morning…I’m blushing.

   I actually listen the KTCU http://www.GoodShow.net shows/podcasts on Mondays, rather than staying up until 1 AM every Sunday to listen live.

   I’ve also downloaded the shows to CD so I can listen in the car…that show is MUCH better than anything else we’ve got ’round these parts…

   Damnit, TFG rants are part of the reason I pay good money for admission to this here blog!

   Err, wait, I don’t pay. Well, still, a good TFG rant is a mighty fun thing. And now I’m gonna have to start furling the things for posterity when I first read them. Bah!

   Just giving you a hard time, pardner. Gawd knows, I’m in a weird spot with my own personal blog right now. Who the hell knows about any of that. You need to get on down here and enjoy some icehouse brews.
