Teddy is right you need to go see his kid play some ball or big Dan’s boy the MASONATOR. I recall you were a pretty good ball player in your day. Pete Rose type too. Do you recall breaking breaking that second baseman’s wrist when you slid into second?
Perhaps w can get Buck to go out for beers and he can inspire you. I don’t see why you don’t like him, he’s old school.

What do you mean Buck is uninspiring? He only led the young Rangers back into the divisional race last year when everyone picked them to finish dead last. What does I guy have to do to inspire you?

I do hope the Rangers are in the thick of it. Since Teddy tweaked me about it, I’ve started paying a bit more attention. John Hart, though, basically is an uninspirational GM, and Buck is an unispirational manager. Tex, Hank, Mike, Humongohead Mensch, Chris “Richie Rich” Young — all those guys are a pretty exciting bunch.

Not true. You have not written about baseball because at the moment all you care about is poker, poker, poker. And since your pretty good at poker and particpate in the game you will keep writing about poker, poker , poker. If the Rangers are in the thick of it in September perhaps you will show an interest. If the Cowboys return to their winning ways then perhaps you will take an interest in the game. ( although nothing will ever approach our days in Stans back room sitting in old stuffed chairs, screaming “cheaters never prosper or dancing to “I like big butts”)
I’m sure you love for baseball will return the sport is too perfect but you like to focus on one thing and when you focus on it’s done with the intensity of fatman eating pizza.
