There will always be an England

Posted by TFG on May 31st, 2005

And I will always love them.*

From Ace. Kinda made my day, a little bit.

* Despite their past depredations on the Scots. Wacky video produced by what are ostensibly British soldiers in Iraq, using some krazee Tom Jones-sounding tune as background. I mean, who else still listens to over-produced, Vegasy Tom Jones-ish tunes? Besides me, of course.

Well, me. “She’s A Lady”, the original version, not that disco-fied bullshit Coors tried to drop on us a couple years ago, is one of the finest tunes ever recorded.

I took my mom to see him 2 years ago at Casa Manana and women still throw panties at him. Of course these panties are a little on the large size

There’s Poker Blogger Otis, and there’s my best pard Otis. Speaking of which, pard, we need a beer drinking night soon so you can smoke one of these fine Tres Hermanos.

Just let me know when you are available my good man.

Perhaps we can talk Big Dan into joining us. He enjoys a night out once in awhile

See what happens when you stick an Englishman in the sun? Poor things.

Isn’t there something about mad dogs and Englishmen in that Andrea?

I still like the Norwegians doing Kosovo better.
