My Smoker???
Posted by TFG on April 16th, 2005
I looked at this model of Tejas Smoker at the Grill Doctor this week. Yo deseo mucho, amigo.

At 74″ long, that would take up one-half of the front porch of my little rock cabin here at el rancho. I was initially looking at this one, but I’ve decided that I really, really *need* that side chamber for the super-grande all-day poker parties I plan to have when I get rich. heh heh

That’s a sweet smoker. Much better than my piece of crap Brinkman. I’m gonna get myself one of those someday…Imagine what someone could do with one of those things.

Hey Bubba:
I lived in Texas for 5 years. Now I live in the frozen North where I can’t find anybody
who can cook decent BBQ. I have eaten BBQ in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Memphis, and of course, the City Market in Luling, TX. Low and slow
cooking is the Texas Way. I do like the Memphis Pulled pork shoulder. Anyway,
here is the link to a fine Texas Grill Company: http://www.nbsmoker.com/smokers.html
I have this one crammed onto the tiny balcony outside my apartment. It works very
well for me. Maybe you should set up a button on this blog, blegging for donations
to finance the grill, and a 1/2 cord of mesquite.

Yeah, New Braunfels is my old smoker, and, I’m looking at them, too. They’re more in my line, finance-wise. The Tejas is kind of a Rolls-Royce smoker, but they are super-sweet on features.
I’m too crappy a writer to bleg.

If I bought that rig, I’d have to go pro to pay for it.
