I say “we” like I had anything to do with it, but I mean “we” in the communal sense of my poker blogger . . . crew? Posse? Gang? Buds? Podnas? Anyhoo, this is our chance to prove we’re not just a bunch of innerwebs typers, but very solid players, too. And once again, I’m using that “we” loosely. My money is on the Iggster, then Hank.
Iggy has the password. I’m already registered. You should be, too. Do NOT allow this opportunity to slide by. A dinky $33 to get a shot at a bracelet, man. Me, I’d pay double or triple to put one of my little poker blogger buddies (or maybe, heaven forfend, me) into the seat. I haven’t been asked, but I’ll help make up the difference if we can’t find 50 typers willing to go hammer and tongs after this opportunity.
Otis has more details about how this is going to be a tough seat, too. I don’t much give a dang about exposure for myself, but there are many good poker writers and theorists out there who deserve a shot at the big time, and if this helps that along, so much the better. Heck, they might hire me to be the CTO. heh heh
I’m so dead money, I should just sponsor someone. I think I’ll do that anyway. What’s another $33? If you’ve got the chops, and the blog, lemme know in the comments. I’ll be a backer. I can’t think of anything finer than sitting in a Vegas bar on Saturday night, tossing back cool ones, saying “Yep, I got a small piece of that blogger what won the NL today.” Yes, I’m serious. You gotta be in Vegas on June 4, of course. All decisions will be final, and subject to my sometimes sober, sometimes drunken whims. You’ve got one week to convince me. So that’s midnight on the 22nd that I’ll announce my hoss. Pass the word, sisters and brothers.
