Blah-blah-blah time

Posted by TFG on 27th July 2003

Two things:

- A HUGE TFG SHOUTOUT to my man, John LeBlanc, for buying an ad in the RotB program for his voice-over company. What is it about bloggers and all these little side projects and companies? After bending his ear for 30 minutes on his crappy Sprint-serviced phone, I can say that he’s definitely got one of those radio voices.

- That brisket came out real nice and tender all the way through. But I realize (slow to the mark here, folkses) that nobody back in the Big D will eat it because it’s “old.” Meaning it didn’t just come out of a paper sack, wrapped in foil, or in a styrofoam container. So it looks like BBQ brisket for me for the rest of the week. Oh, the horror!

- …

Never mind…I said two things…

protein wisdom

What’s that smell? Is it…wait, bologna…?

So now it’s a new domain - celluloid-wisdom.com - yet the same old test pattern and the same old soon-to-be-a-year-old post from PW. I’m trying to imagine the sick mind that would bother.

Automated tractors with GPS steering systems? I feel so pointless now…

Big Dick Bennett bursts my bubble this morning, before I even got a full cup of coffee down.

It really does sound like some cool technology. I didn’t know the GPS unit was so bloody precise. I wander if I can hook it up to a garden tractor to do the campground and around the houses once a week. Or make it like those pool tractors that suck up dirt and leaves. Just leave it running for a couple of days, and a random pattern eventually covers every square inch.
